Meet the Teacher: Thursday, August 13
Welcome back!! Families are strongly encouraged to attend Meet the Teacher during their designated time slot. Following the schedule below will help reduce parking congestion and the number of people on campus at one time.
Last names A–M: 3:30–4:15 p.m.
Last names N–Z: 4:15–5:00 p.m.
Your child’s teacher will email you on Wednesday, August 12 with their classroom assignment for the upcoming school year.
If you have not received an email by the evening of August 12, your child may not be fully registered. Families who still need to complete registration should do so as soon as possible.
We Need Your Help at Meet the Teacher!
We will be hosting our Meet the Teacher on August 13 and we need some help before and during the event. Sign up to help organize school supplies and pass out shirts. Your support helps make this event happen!
Free 2026 Summitt Spirit Shirts!
Our new 2026 Summitt spirit shirts are hot off the press!
Thanks to the Summitt PTA, every Summitt student will receive one free shirt. Shirts will be available for pickup during Meet the Teacher on Thursday, August 13, from 3:30–5:00 p.m.
Parents and caregivers can show their Summitt pride, too! Adult shirts will be available for purchase for $10 each.
Final Summer Playdate: Saturday, August 15
9:00–10:00 a.m. | Summitt Playground
Join us for one final Summer Playdate before school begins! This is a great opportunity for students and families to reconnect with old friends, meet new ones, and enjoy some time together on the playground. We hope to see you there!

After drop-off, join fellow parents and caregivers for the free BooHoo WooHoo Breakfast in the Summitt Library. Come cry, celebrate, meet other families, and welcome the new school year with the Summitt PTA and Summitt Watch D.O.G.S.
