Talon Talk March
Happy Spring! We have a fun filled March ahead! This week we are kicking of our PTA APEX Fundraiser that will run from March 4-March 13th. The APEX Fun Run will be on March 13th. Spring Break is two short weeks away! Please note that students do not have school on March 14th, the Friday before spring break. STAAR testing is upon us next month. Please note the testing dates below, as it will impact the majority of April. The campus will be closed the weeks of STAAR testing, so please plan accordingly. If your child is in 3rd, 4th or 5th grade please make note of the testing dates, so that appointments and other plans do not impact your child's attendance on these days.
Principal Newsletter - February
Time continues to fly by! We have a very busy month ahead. We were able to close out January with a successful UIL event at Hill Elementary. Summitt represented well! I am so proud of our incredible staff for all of their hard work and dedication to our community. Our students and staff continue to truly strive for excellence. The teaching and learning is such a sight to see and I could not be more proud of the tenacity of our students as they continue to show academic growth and personal growth both socially and emotionally.

Happy New Year Summitt Families! I can not believe how quickly the first semester has flown by. I continue to be so thankful and grateful to lead this amazing community. I have loved every bit of watching our students learn and grow socially, academically and emotionally. I have been so impressed with the tenacity and growth that students have exhibited.
