She attended Texas State University and graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Education. Ms. Tracy is certified to teach ESL/Vietnamese Bilingual for grades EC-6. Suzanne Skalaban
When not teaching, Ms. Suzanne is a wife and mother of four children, ranging in age from a freshman at Texas Tech University, to a fourth grader at Summitt. Her junior at Anderson High is the eldest of the three girls, and an eighth grader at Murchison Middle School completes the family.
Before children, she earned a Journalism degree from UT and a Teaching Certificate from Texas State. She taught fourth grade in the Lake Travis School District for six years before ‘retiring’ to raise my children. For the next twelve years, Ms. Suzanne tutored and worked in preschools. When her youngest, Ellie, started kindergarten at Summitt, she began substituting at Summitt. All of her children have attended Summitt K-5, so she is a proud parent and community member too. Ms. Suzanne has been teaching at Summitt since 2011. If you haven’t noticed Ms. Suzanne before, you might see her walking around the neighborhood, working in her yard, relaxing at the library or swimming pool, and shopping at HEB.
